Ingenio: Keen Responsive Website Redesign

Context
Ingenio is an e-commerce based knowledge exchange platform. Their most profitable advice website is Keen, which provides a platform for psychic and spiritual advice. It was first launched in 1999 and has enabled over 30 million global conversations via phone, chat, and web.
Contributions
– Principal Design Lead for the complete transformational redesign of the Keen.com website, including information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and user research.
– Comprehensive conversion to responsive web design patterns for desktop, tablet, and phone optimization.
– Streamlined and modernized Keen website brand system through a reduced yet enriched contemporary color palette, current web fonts, emotive imagery, and updated icon designs.
– Architected extensive customizations to Bootstrap theme, including additional media queries and modified components and grid structure.
– Defined user research processes, objectives and strategies, and conducted user testing through surveys, UserTesting.com, and informal interviews.
– Provided creative, UX, and HTML/CSS guidance and mentoring to two Senior Designers.
– Designed landing pages for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Collaborated with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, business strategy, marketplace quality and risk management, and customer service.
– Received training from Silicon Valley Product Group on lean product management and UX methodologies.
